Kid Tours

What have we done for you lately?

Well, how about the best darned day the kids are going to have on the Cape?
Let’s get the little rascals off to a hearty breakfast. How about a place that hides the sugar packets?
Sorry,  no such place, but we can get them a hearty and reasonable breakfast right on the site.

After breakfast we march them into the office to outfit them with all the kayak safety gear.
Next, we form groups at nearby picnic tables and go over the details of the journey.
Once all the necessary topics are covered we learn how to paddle safely and responsibly
and it’s off we go into the wild blue water, well, actually it’s really green... full of nutrients.

All groups of 6-8 kayaks will have one professionally trained and certified ACA guide.
A well trained intern accompanies the group to keep an eye on the stragglers.
The intern is a naturalist in training and he or she goes through a rigorous
safety and kayak training before they can join our team.
We are fully insured and our instructor/naturalists are ACA trained.

The American Canoe Association is the oldest and largest organization devoted to paddlesports.
ACA supports a rapidly expanding group of canoeing, kayaking, rafting, and swiftwater rescue
instructors and instructor trainers across the country.

Upon our return we deliver the gang to the Zooquarium where they are treated to a
fabulous tour of the indoor facility. The Zooquarium offers an aquarium, seal & sea lion show,
petting zoo, touch tidal pool, wildlife, and the Zoorific Outdoor Theater - a wonderful way
for kids to learn about the creatures that share our woods and waters, ...and have a lot of fun as well!

 Who said lunch?

Everyone walks from the Zooquarium over to Skippy’s Marina where they can have
their choice of the designated menu specifically prepared for them by the head chef.
Lot
s of vegetables and liver, the stuff they really love....

Golf Anyone?

As soon as the kids finish eating we open the doors of the limo and give the kids
a brief ride to the Miniature Golf Course directly down the road from us.
Eighteen holes, Great White Sharks, escaped madmen, two pirates
and some real monster putts later, it’s back to the bus and off to your evening schedule.
What a day we had huh? I need a nap.
